Mul-T-Lock Rekeying and Key Control
Most of the time, people don’t actually need to replace the entire lock. What they need is a Mul-T-Lock cylinder rekey. You keep your same handles and deadbolt hardware, and we simply replace the Mul-T-Lock core and issue new controlled keys. This resets access completely. If your tenant moved out. If an employee left. If someone misplaced a copy. If you found yourself wondering how many keys are currently “out there.” Rekeying fixes that in one step.
This is especially common in triplexes and duplexes in Little Portugal and Palmerston, where tenants often rotate. The landlord finally gets tired of playing the “hope nobody copied the key” game. After rekeying to Mul-T-Lock, there’s no guessing anymore.
We can do the same in storefronts along Queen West, Ossington, Bloor, College, King, and St. Clair. The brand works in both residential and commercial hardware bodies. We rekey it cleanly and leave the property secure again.
Popular Mul-T-Lock Models We Install
People often request a certain Mul-T-Lock series by name. Some know the models, some only recognize the look of the key. To give a sense of what’s commonly installed in Toronto:
The Mul-T-Lock MT5+ system is the one most homeowners who want maximum key control choose. It’s the most advanced mechanical key platform and offers a long-term controlled key profile.
The Mul-T-Lock Interactive+ system is also popular in multi-unit residential properties and commercial use. It balances durability and affordability.
The Mul-T-Lock Integrator system is a step down from Interactive+, still secure, still controlled, and very common in rental buildings where many locks share a system.
For physical lock bodies, the Hercular Deadbolt is the one most customers recognize. Heavy. Clean lines. Grabs solid into the frame. The Cronus Deadbolt is the slightly more compact model with the same tight machining and smooth feel.
For shops, medical clinics, and office suites, we also install the Mul-T-Lock Mortise cylinders, lever sets, and storefront door cylinders built for aluminum frame doors. These are common on Queen Street, the Junction Triangle, the Yonge & Bloor area retail levels, and in coworking building corridors.
Nothing here is flashy. Everything here is stable, repeatable, and reliable.
